Role Description

As an ALDI Operations Assistant Store Manager, you focus specifically on driving store operational compliance, inventory flow, logistics receiving, and backroom management. Working alongside the Store Manager, you oversee morning truck offloading, stockroom organization, product ordering accuracy, and cold-chain compliance. You ensure that merchandise moves seamlessly from delivery bays to sales shelves while maintaining strict loss prevention standards. This position is 100% physical and strictly requires full on-site leadership presence at the store with zero work-from-home availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct inbound freight delivery offloading, verifying shipment piece counts and stockroom staging.
• Manage store product ordering systems, auditing inventory levels to maintain full shelf availability without overstock.
• Oversee stockroom safety, cardboard baling operations, and pallet bay organization.
• Enforce food safety, temperature monitoring, and cold-chain compliance in produce, meat, and freezer sections.
• Supervise inventory cycle counts and audit stock shrink control procedures.
• Coach store stockers and warehouse leads on efficient work methods and ergonomic standards.
• Step up to manage overall store operations in the Store Manager's absence.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; prior logistics or retail operations experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and inventory management abilities.
• Physical capability to perform heavy lifting (up to 45 lbs), standing, bending, and operating material handling equipment.
• Availability to work early morning opening shifts consistently.

• Job Type: Full-Time (100% On-Site).
